It's Music Revolution...2!
Music Revolution 2!
This year, a good number of ‘eager for God’s Word’ young people gathered for the annual J-Church Camp held in Pretoria, South Africa to listen to Reverend Oko preach. The theme for the camp was MUSIC REVOLUTION 2; a continuation of the camp preached in Kenya titled MUSIC REVOLUTION. Reverend Oko touched on several wonderful points. He said that God gave the ministry of music to the Priests (Levites), to Angelic beings and to CHILDREN! That should definitely show how important children are to God.
The children were taught a song by Andrae Crouch titled “I don’t know why Jesus Loved Me”. Just like in the MUSIC REVOLUTION camp in Kenya, a mini-music school was held where they were taught to play drums, guitar and keyboard. But the revolution didn’t end there! Reverend Oko then preached about 700 hundred Lord Songs you can sing! Yes, 700 songs about the Lord! So from now on when we sing, may it be about the Lord.
During one of the sessions, Reverend Oko showed the children a video of young people ministering through music and encouraged them saying that they could rise up and be just like them. On the last day, he prophesied the reformation of South African Music and declared the beginning of a great upheaval in the Music Ministry in SAVED J- Church, South Africa.
You’re blessed!
